This question depends on where you live.  You do not want to spray for weeds too early or too late in the year.  However, we are a Minnesota based company and October is not too late to spray for weeds in MN.  Between mid-September and late October, it is one of the best times to spray for some weeds, especially perennial broadleaf weeds.  When the weather gets cooler, the weeds move nutrients to their roots which means the treatments you spray will be absorbed better and be more effective.

There are many factors that go into determining the cost of weed removal.  Some of those factors are…

• The type of weeds your lawn is infected with.
• How large the weed infestation area is.
• How many treatments it takes to get rid of the weeds.
• The location you live in.

There is not one way to kill all weeds permanently.  Depending on the type of weed, they need to be treated in different ways. From broadleaf weeds to grassy weeds to perennial versus annual weeds, they all need different herbicides and methods.  The best thing to do is have a professional identify exactly what weed issue you have and then they can determine what the best method will be to destroy the weeds and prevent them from returning.

If you only have a few weeds, you can attempt to pull them by hand but you must ensure that the whole root system comes out with the weed for the best chances of it not returning.
